Welcome students! Registration is now open for our diploma and ESL program (English as a Second Language) for the 2022/2023 school year, and our newly added CTE Course, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), for the upcoming Spring 2023 semester! Please use the links below to register.
*Our diploma and ESL classes are in person and take place on our Victor Valley Adult School Campus and will be on Tuesday's and Thursday's (more info below under desired program). Time will be dependent on class assignment. *Attendance is required. Students are also able to work at their own pace at home after attending class.
Our Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) class will be held at Silverado High School on Thursday from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. in Room 8101 with Teacher Mr. Wick. *Classes are in person. *Attendance is required.
Please note: We do not offer the GED program at this time. All registration forms submitted in June and July, will be followed up on at the beginning of August. Please check your email frequently beginning August 1st, as this is the method we use for most of our communication. We look forward to seeing you in August! Have a safe and enjoyable summer!

To enroll into the diploma program we will need a government issued ID and your official transcripts from the last school you attended, in addition to your completed registration form (we will not need your transcripts if your last high school was within our district, VVUHSD). Please note your last school attended correctly on your registration form. Official transcripts must be unopened and brought to us in a sealed envelope. If transcripts are emailed, they must come directly from the school's or registrar's email address with a valid signature, and be sent directly to our email address at adulted@vvuhsd.org. We cannot accept emailed transcripts from students. Victor Valley Adult School offers a reduced credit requirement of 150 credits. Classes are in person and students are required to attend classes and stay for as long as they can. Students must physically check in with their teacher at least once a week. Students are also able to work at home in the Acellus program at there own pace. Please feel free to call us or come by if you have any credit related questions.

*NEW! EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER (EMR)
(Spring semester, January 23rd - May 8th, 2023)

In the Emergency Medical Responder course, students will learn the anatomy and physiology of the human body, the EMR principles of emergency care, and on-scene safety and precautions. The student will gain practical experience in assessing patients, protocols and procedures for transporting patients, and dealing with medical or behavioral emergencies. Students will gain knowledge of childbirth and how to deal with pediatric emergencies.

(Note: CTE courses are one semester long and are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only students who complete all components of registration, including entry testing, will be added to the course.)
After you have submitted your registration, you will receive an email with further instructions. This email should arrive within one week of your submission. If it is completed during the summer, you will receive an email once the staff is back in the office (August) processing the applications. Registration may take up to two weeks for processing once we have all the items we need. Please check your email frequently, as this is how we do most of our communication.
