About Us
Victor Valley Adult School (VVAS) was established on January 4, 1994, and provides high-quality, student-friendly classes and programs. VVAS students include those who may not have completed their high school diploma and those who wish to learn English.
Classes at VVAS are free to High Desert residents 18 and older (not currently enrolled in high school). Students can obtain a high school diploma, learn about jobs, explore options to transfer to our local community college, or learn to speak English. Our instructors are experienced in working with adults and understand what it takes to decide to “go back to school.”
FOCUS ON HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND ESL
Victor Valley Adult School focuses only on high school diplomas and ESL. We do not offer G.E.D. or CTE courses. Our diploma and ESL classes are in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Victor Valley Adult School Campus. Class times are from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. Students are required to be present in class at least once a week, and they have the flexibility to continue their classwork from home.
Our Victor Valley Adult School Campus ESL classes are in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Time will depend on the class level the student is assigned to: Level 1 from 4:00-5:15 p.m. or Level 2 from 5:30-6:45 p.m. ESL classes are also offered at Adelanto High School, ESL from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
